What’s a good running shoe for me?

I’m 5′9, 190~ pounds, average built.

I have a pair of nike shox that has a hole on the upper right end of the toe box where my foot’s pinky would often stick out. The shoes also have like plastic sticking out, I guess I used it for too much. I also guess I shouldn’t wear those for intramural football….

but yeah, what’s a good shoe for me at a decent price? (Under $60?)

There is no “perfect” shoe that will work well for everyone. Everyone has different needs that need to be fulfilled.

I know for me, I like to have a little more heel support, I have a slightly wider foot, and I run on both trails and roads. I need to take all of that into consideration when I buy a running shoe. The best advice you can get would probably be from a running store. The workers are very knowledgeable and will help you find the perfect shoe.

Now, as far as the shoe that you have posted… I personally prefer asics, as they tend to fit my needs a little better. However, I know a lot of people who use those exact shoes that you posted, and they think they are great and buy a new pair of them when they need new shoes.

You said you had shox before, so if you were happy with how Nike shoes felt when you wore them, I’d say go ahead and buy them. It is a very good running shoe.
