Better hair product for mens messy hair?

So, my hair isnt long, maybe a few inches at most, and I kinda go for that messy look. Well, when my hair is shorter, I use that Crew classic Wax, and its perfect. But as it gets longer, my hair is naturally very flat and straight, so it doesnt hold very well. Ive tried ALOT out there and am having no luck. Have you tried, or know of, anything that is really good?

I use the American crew fiber, its the best hair product I have tried!!
